One PC can communicate to as many as 255 controllers. The PC is used to run OPTO 22 Factory Floor software.

One controller can communicate to as many as 64 SNAP brain boards and I/O racks per serial port.

One SNAP brain board controls as many as 16 I/O modules on a rack. The first 8 positions can be populated with digital modules and all positions can be populated with analog modules.
