The EA KIT160-7 combines a display, a key pad and switches at a single unit. The advantages are immediately clear: cheap, compact and flexible. Labeling of up to 56 key pads is made by customers software. So even for smallest quantities different product version and languages can be supported quickly without any additional cost.
Using a STN display from BlueLine series Control Unit provides an excellent contrast with the colors blue and white together with a bright backlight. By the way, surface of touch panel is non-scratchable and antireflex for best contrast of lcd. Display itself got enough space for text, icons an graphics. Many graphics functions and fonts are already built in. This makes connection with various systems absolute easy. Text and graphics function can be used in parallel - accurate to the pixel. Outline dimensions are very compact with 140x102mm for a viewing area of 5,1" (101x102mm).
Data transmission is done by RS-232 or RS-422 with a coordinate based language. Macros and pictures can be stored in onboard EEPROM. Power supply is 5V or 9..35V. Two mounting bezels made of anodized aluminium are available as an accessorie in black and blue.
