LED and Photo Electronic Components
Lumex is a major globally based designer, manufacturer and distributor of Opto- and Photo-Electronic Components and devices. Lumex products are designed and produced to assist engineers with the challenging task to come up with effective and attractive "user interface" design solutions for their products. Lumex solid state lighting solutions come in the form of light emitting diodes (SMT LEDs, Light Pipes, through-hole LED Lamps, LED panel indicators, LED PCB indicators, LED displays and white LEDs). The Liquid Crystal family is made up of LCD panels, liquid crystal character modules and liquid crystal graphic modules. Opto-couplers and photo-couplers are the main items of the large opto-electronic family. All Lumex Designs involve the emission, reflection and detection of light, hence the name Lumex (from lumen- the international unit of light).
