The Panel PCs are supplied with field bus options for PROFIBUS and CANbus for the connection of process I/Os, making integration for the user much easier. The system is also supplied fully tested for its functionality, allowing the user to concentrate fully on the configuration and programming of the control/visualization. Additional field buses can also be integrated and are supported by the PLC programming software.
The pre-installed software can be configured not only for the control according to the IEC 61131 standard, but at the same time, for the visualization of machine data for the operator, and can support a wide range of process I/Os via the optional OPC server, without the need for any complicated integration.
All 15" Panel PCs work on the basis of the VIA C3 processor and are distinguished by their minimal power dissipation and good-value prices. Boasting protection class IP65, the Panel PCs are eminently suitable for the harsh conditions of the machine environment, as well as for remote operating terminals or for upgrading operator consoles in an existing PLC infrastructure.
