Universal low cost Industrial SBC with 5x86 CPU
The MIP520 is a highly integrated industrial single board computer in PC/104 form factor. It is fully PC/AT compatible and well suited for applications requiring a small size, high performance PC with great flexibility. The MIP520 can be used in a standard operating environment without the need of a fan.
All major components required to build a complete and sophisticated PC/AT system are implemented on the MIP520 board. It features a VGA interface for flat panel and CRT (simultaneous panel and CRT operation possible), an E-IDE and FDD port, one parallel and two serial ports, keyboard and mouse interface, SSI, speaker output and one timer interface and a real time clock. Optional you have the possibility for Ethernet and/or USB controller on board. With the integrated 16-bit PC/104 interface, flexible expansion possibilities are also available.

MPL AG erweitert die Industrie-PC-Familie um den MIP520. Der MIP520 basiert auf dem AMD-Prozessor ELAN520 und ist ein PC/104 SBC mit sehr geringer Verlustleistung von weniger als 4 Watt.
Auf der kleinen Fläche sind neben den Standard-PC-Funktionen 2 serielle Schnittstellen, 2 USB-Interfaces, ein 10/100MHz Ethernet (RJ45) und Graphic (C+T 69000) für CRT + LCD untergebracht. Bis 128MB SDRAM können auf einem 144-poligen SO-DIMM Sockel installiert werden.
Der MIP520 ist im Standardtemperaturbereich von 0 - 60° C oder optional im Bereich -40 bis 75° C erhältlich.
Als Versorgungsspannung wird nur 5V benötigt. Optional wird ein MMI angeboten,
das den Terminalbetrieb bis 15 m Abstand erlaubt. Neben der LCD-Anzeige mit
"Touch-Panel" stehen auch eine Tastatur, eine Mouse, RS232 und ein USB-Interface zur Verfügung.
Der MIP520 wird auch mit reduzierten Funktionen hergestellt.
Ideale Einsatzgebiete sind: Industrie-Anwendungen, Medizintechnik, Fahrzeuge und portable Anwendungen.
