New Cooling Concept for 2 U IPCs

One of the hottest topics in the IT world today is the urgent need for more effective cooling systems to keep up with the continually increasing computing performance. In response to customers´ demand for a space-saving, thermally optimized solution, DSM AG has developed a new and innovative cooling concept.
The cooling concept evolved by DSM Computer AG makes it possible for the user to offer high-performance industrial solutions in the space-saving 2 U form factor.
The flat, high-grade DSM Infinity 3200 system can be installed in a 19" cabinet or implemented as a standalone industrial computer under harsh conditions.
Even the basic model can be equipped with an Intel® Pentium4 with 3.06 GHz processor. A 400 Watt power unit ensures a sufficient power supply in the system. As an option, DSM can also supply the current Infinity 3200 system with Intel® Dual Xeon (2 x 2.8 GHz) processors. The five free PCI slots in the Infinity 3200 system provide additional flexibility. This allows the customer to integrate up to four long cards, or two full-length slot CPU cards and three half-length slot PCU cards. The drive plug-in unit allows the installation of one 5.25" and one 3.5" drive, or two 3.5" and three 2.5" drives.
