EPIC basierender, lüfterloser Mini-PC,
Das EBC-2100-Gehäuse wird mit EPIC-CPU-Boards ausgerüstet und kann mit Hilfe der Kühlrippen lüfterlos betrieben werden. Dies gilt sowohl für das ULV Celeron 400 MHz, Nano-GX und das Nano-LX CPU-Board.
Beim Nano 8522 ist zusätzlich ein spezieller Kühlköper auf den Board nötig, der mit dem Gehäuse verbunden wird. Dank der EPIC-Konzept mit allen Schnittstellen auf einer Seite ist eine kostengüstige und kompakte mechanische Lösung ermöglicht worden.
Folgende Schnittstellen sind vorhanden: 1x RS232 (2 optional), 4 x USB, VGA, LAN, Compact Flash-Sockel, Audio optional, Parallel-Port optional und der 12 VDC-Anschluss. Eine Funktionserweiterung ist dank dem PC/104 und PC/104+ -Steckplatz möglicht. Die Abmessungen betragen 262 mm / Breite) x 56 mm (Höhe x 134 mmm (Tiefe).
