19" Racks
3 different sizes of 19" racks are available:
- 1U Low Profile Rack, 2 Slots 6U
- 4U Rack, 8 Slots 3U
- 7U Rack, 8 Slots 6U
19" Desktop Racks
The CR4-3-RACK provides a rear I/O backplane (other features identical to CR4-1-RACK).
Therefore this rack is suited for CompactPCI CPU cards with rear I/O capacity,
e.g. CC9-SAMBA.
With a depth of only 280mm the CR4-X-RACK is suitable for both, either cabinet
mounting, or as a stand-alone computer.
The system-slot is situated right-most on the CPCI backplane, thus allowing
use of CPU modules with larger (non-standard) front-panels up to 12HP without
losing the neighbouring slot. Located to the left, another 7 slots are completely
available for adapter boards.
CRB-BLUELINE
3U Small Size CompactPCI IPC Systems
172mm x 132mm x 208mm CompactPCI Rack, 4 Slots Backplane, Removable PSU
Rugged, expandable, economic - the new CRB-BLUELINE series of miniature CompactPCI®
IPC systems from EKF is suitable for all industrial requirements, even under
harsh conditions. The small rack is built of high-quality 19-inch components.
With its low dimensions of only 172x132x208mm (3U/30HP), the BLUE LINE provides
space for a maximum of 4 CompactPCI modules (single size Eurocard style). The
BLUE LINE systems include a high-grade removable power supply.
EKF offers a wide range of scalable CPU boards suitable for the BLUE LINE to
choose from, beginning with the ULV Celeron® 400MHz processor up to the
Pentium® M 2GHz.
A mass storage device, either 2.5- or 1.8-inch hard disk, or a CompactFlash
card (Microdrive), is integral part of the CPU module. Cooling by natural convection
is already sufficient for low power processor boards.
